We finally got started with our Farmington Addition/remodel project. The addition will consist of a new vaulted great room, an office, bathroom, and an extended mechanical room off the back of the 1700 s.f. rambler. Also we are adding a roof over the entry to create a front porch.

The exterior will be completely resided and reroofed, while the inside entry area will get reworked to add a large walk in closet, turning the old living room into an additional bedroom, and creating a separate laundry room from the new extended mechanical room.

The kitchen will get new cabinets and countertops, while the rest of the house will get new trim, paint and flooring.

It’s exciting to finally break ground. Looking forward to posting as the project progresses. The homeowners are equally excited to see their vision begin to become reality!
